I wrote this poem recently for my wife, who has just given birth to our first child, Chloe, 1 month ago. Things have been very crazy in the house with all the sleep-deprivation, and my wife Silya and I have both been feeling completely burnt out. I was inspired to write this for her one night, it brought us together during this sometimes “challenging” time.(Anyone who’s ever taken care of a newborn baby will know what I’m talking about, hehe)
Since I started to share the poem with others I’ve noticed it has a very powerful effect on people who read it, because it speaks about something everyone can relate to. I wanted to share it with you. Here it goes…
